US experiences record demand with a 43% increase compared to June 2019

IWG, the world’s largest provider of flexible workspace, is strengthening its global network with centers opening in New York City, Philadelphia, Chicago and London’s Kensington area, along with new openings in three new locations in Jakarta. The latest center openings support the growing demand for hybrid work in the wake of Covid-19. The group has announced promising growth with demand up 43% in the US in June compared with 2019, and one million new users joining the group this year with another million committed.
U.S.
Spaces Park Avenue South, New York City
Located in Manhattan’s Midtown South, Spaces Park Avenue South features a choice of light-filled areas on the 8th, 9th and 10th floors including an abundance of stylish meeting rooms and coworking spaces. The center is easily accessible to Grand Central Terminal and the 6 train and a plethora of upscale hotels, dining and nightlife spots are moments away. Signature South Quarter
In Jakarta, Signature South Quarter opened on July 1 in the Simatupang quarter of the city, just a 30-minute drive from Soekarno–Hatta International Airport and where many of the country’s prominent oil firms are based. Boasting over 23,000 square feet of flexible workspace including co-working spaces, dedicated offices, meeting rooms and 24/7 access, this Signature is co-located with the city’s finest luxury residences as well as some of the world’s biggest companies in finance, fashion and technology.
Regus Jakarta JB Tower
The latest Regus to open in Jakarta is set within the city’s new 36-storey JB Tower, just a short walk from the capital’s National Monument and the National Museum of Indonesia. The center offers 24/7 access and features dedicated offices, coworking and meeting rooms. Located in an area popular with telecommunication, finance and technology companies, the center is set to open October 15 and is set across 13,500 square feet.

In November, IWG will welcome a second flagship Signature location in Jakarta with the opening of Signature Menara Astra. The stunning center, located on one of the city’s busiest and most historic thoroughfares, will feature co-working spaces, dedicated offices, meeting rooms and 24/7 access.

The centers in New York City’s Park Aenue South, Jakarta, London Kensington were previously operated by WeWork; Chicago by Industrious; Philadelphia by MakeOffice and New York City’s Penn Plaza by Virgo.
